Join us at our 20th Anniversary Gala Exhibition for our largest ever exhibition of colour pencil artwork featuring UK and International Artists.

This year it's our 20th Anniversary, and to celebrate we have chosen the fantastic space at the Bargehouse, Oxo Tower Wharf in London to showcase the incredible flexibility of colour pencils and the diversity of artistic styles now being produced.

There will be plenty and see and do:

Main Exhibition - See nearly 250 colour pencil artworks jury selected from entries received from members and non-members of the society. If you couldn't get to the exhibition or would like a reminder click on the button below for the full online gallery.

Gala Online Gallery

2020 Reframed - A chance to see a selection artwork that qualified for our 2020 Open Exhibition which had to be displayed online last year.

Gala Cards Exhibition - A stunning artwall of Artist Trading Card sized originals created by our members.

Workshops - there will be at least one workshop nearly every day at the exhibition. Click/tap here for the full list and book your place if you see one (or more) you like.

Demos - there will be a least one demo each day where you can see colour pencil art being created and chat with the artists and hopefully pick up some tips for yourself.

Test it out area - You can try before you buy. Enjoy some samples to take away, and a whole host of products to test.


  • Exhibition pieces for sale will be identified in the catalogue which will be available to purchase from the shop.
  • Prints and cards of selected artists will also be on sale, alongside branded merchandise and gifts.

The UK Coloured Pencil Society Anual Exhibition is open to all artists. Each work must comprise at least 50% dry coloured pencil. See rules of entry for info.

Prizes include: Best Picture Award £1,000; Runner Up £500 and Colored Pencil Society of America Award for Excellence (CPSA) $500.
