Paula Mignucci is a professional animal portrait artist, based in the beautiful Surrey Hills, UK.  Her works range from realistic wildlife art to pet and equestrian portraiture.

Paula is a strong advocate for the protection of the natural world and animal welfare issues including hunting and exploitation of animals as well as the effects of climate change on the animal kingdom.  She has collaborated with, and used her artwork to raise vital funds for animal welfare charities.

“I hope that I can play a part in being a catalyst for change by highlighting the destruction of our natural world through my art.”  Paula Mignucci, artist.

After receiving a BA (Hons) degree, Paula pursued a career in the design industry, working as a fashion illustrator in the Netherlands and in design management roles for several large corporates, including British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.  Although the work was rewarding, she always yearned to follow her true passions – drawing and animals.

Paula's style of drawing is anatomically precise and photo-realistic, with many hours spent studying the form, values, textures and more importantly, the anima (soul) of her subjects.
