Art has always been part of my life. Shortly after graduating with a B.F.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology, I discovered using coloured pencils as a fine art medium. I like the smooth texture and fine details that can be achieved.

My work is inspired by my love of nature, travel, and the beauty I find in everyday objects.

My artwork has been featured in numerous art publications, and I am a contributing artist in the book Masterful Color: Vibrant Colored Pencil Paintings Layer by Layer by Arlene Steinberg.

I am a UKCPSO Signature Member of the UK Colour Pencil Society, a CPSA and CPX (five-year merit) Signature Member the Colored Pencil Society of America, an elected member of the American Artists Professional League, and a Juried Member of the National Art League, the International Guild of Realism and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club.

My award-winning work has been shown in solo gallery exhibits and I have participated in numerous national and international juried shows and group exhibitions including the UK Colour Pencil Society Open Annual Exhibitions; the Salmagundi Club’s Annual Painting, Sculpture & Graphics Exhibitions; Colored Pencil Society of America’s International Exhibitions; Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club Open Exhibitions; AAPL Grand National Exhibits; National Art League’s Juried Open Exhibitions and the Sumi-e Society of America’s Annual Juried Exhibitions.

In addition to working in coloured pencils, I also enjoy East Asian brush painting and alcohol ink painting.

I currently reside with my husband on Long Island, New York.
