Warwickshire Open Studios is an annual event I have exhibited in since 2016 and I will be exhibiting original artwork and giclée prints from home. The artwork available spans my entire art journey up to the modern day where I am constantly producing work and improving upon my techniques.

I have managed to achieve a very reasonable reputation now for my detailed pen and ink work complete with Caran d'Ache colour pencils, and have a few collectors who now seek out my original work which can take up to 4 months to complete.

The ethos behind my work is storytelling through picture form where each picture is interpreted differently for each person seeing it. It’s wonderful to hear what different people say about the same artwork, especially kids, and at the core of it all is the encouragement to use imagination. Imagination is everything or, as Einstein said, “imagination is more important than knowledge”.

I am a member of the Guild of Cotswold Craftsmen and an Associate member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (formed 1821)and hope to gain top tier membership next Spring after serving a 3 year period of Associateship. I joined the UKCPS this year and it seems I am in good company of some very talented people!
